What should I call the Star?

If you are naming the star for your Partner, then most people would give the star his or her full name, eg: “Katie Louise Newton”, “Josh Oliver Vickers”.

But you can be as creative as you like: “My Princess – Katie Newton”, “Katie’s Light”, “Josh Oliver’s Love Star”, “Katie – I love you – Josh x”, etc.

Or you could name it for you both: “Katie & Josh Forever”, “Josh & Katie’s Valentine Star”, etc.

There are approximately 37 characters available for your star name (including spaces and punctuation).

What constellations are suitable for Valentine’s Day?

All the constellations listed below are visible from the UK on 14th February:

Andromeda The Princess, Cassiopeia The Queen, Orion The Hunter, Perseus The Hero, Cepheus The King, Lynx The Cat, Ursa Major The Great Bear, Ursa Minor The Little Bear.

Birth signs visible in February are: Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo (later in the evening).

For stars named for Couples – any of the above, or, in particular:

Cygnus The Swan – Swans have many romantic associations and are thought to mate for life.

Eridanus The River - The winding River can be said to Symbolise your path through life together.

Draco The Dragon - Dragons are considered lucky by many cultures, so stars in Draco are considered “lucky stars”.

(If you want different words added, tell us what wording you would like – and we will add your words for you – Free). NB – For operational reasons it is not possible to have both curved-text and block-text added to a single Certificate
