Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, recognising a great achievement, or remembering someone dear to you, naming a Star with ISR is unique and inspirational. They will never forget what you have done for them· and, with a star named after them, they will never be forgotten.

When your application has been received, we select a star from NASA's Hubble Guide Star Catalog. The stars are not randomly chosen. Unless advised by you, we do our best to choose a star in a constellation that will be meaningful to the recipient and visible at a relevant time of the year.

	Our large personalised 16" x 12" (41cm x 32cm) colour Certificate of Registration is beautifully inscribed with the name and date you have chosen, the star's constellation and its telescopic co-ordinates. Comes flat - ready for you to have framed, if required.
	Our large, matching 16" x 12" (41cm x 32cm) custom Astronomical Chart maps the main features of the constellation and has the position of the star clearly identified by a red circle. The name you have given to the star also appears on the chart, together with the date, the star's full co-ordinates and unique Hubble Guide Star Catalogue number.
	Our Place in the Cosmos©, a star-naming and astronomy guide specially prepared for us by leading U.S. astronomer Dr. James Rickard, which also contains constellation maps to help you find the constellation of your star.
	A covering letter of congratulation, which also explains the contents of the gift pack. We are happy to change the wording of the letter upon request if you have a special requirement. (NB ö A differently worded, personalised letter is enclosed where the star has been named in memory of someone).
	The name you have given to the star is included in the next published volume of Your Place in the Cosmos©, together with its co-ordinates. This large, hard-backed compendium of star names is deposited with the World's major copyright libraries. Volumes I to VII have been published and deposited. Stars currently being named will appear in Volume VIII ö we will notify you on publication.
	NB Your Place in the Cosmos©, is the original contemporary star name catalogue with over a million entries ö so the name you have chosen will appear among those of the many celebrities we've been asked to name stars for in over 25 years! Stars named with other organisations do not appear in Your Place in the Cosmos©, so beware of imitations.
